Currently seeking a Finance Director for an excellent opportunity in the Hilo, Hawaii area. The ideal candidate will preferably hold a CPA and possess 4 years of related experience.
Responsibilities of the Finance Director
- Plan, organize and direct activities of the Finance Department.
- Responsible for accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, patient accounts, managed care, patient health benefits coordination, and financial and statistical reporting.
- Perform professional management functions associated with accounting and other financial services, managed care, and patient eligibility determination.
- Perform other duties assigned.
Requirements of the Finance Director
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum of 4-years’ Experience.
- Strong aptitude in MS Windows Environment.
- CPA Preferred.
- Health Care of Community Health Care Experience Preferred.
- Ability to grasp and understand business concepts and issues.
- Ability to develop a vision for the future and create a culture in which the long range goals can be achieved.
- Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.
- Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.
